Individualised lesson plans tailored to your child’s needs

At Forest Learning it is important to understand your child’s level of understanding and knowledge before commencing with tuition, hence the initial assessment prior to tuition. Once established we then develop an individualised program of study tailored to your child’s needs and learning style. We use an organic approach when teaching and supporting your child so your child’s individual teaching needs can be met. No child’s learning program is the same and homework is tailored for the individual.

The end goal is for your child to thrive in school and this can only happen if the right support is in place and key concepts are understood. We often have to fill the gaps in their knowledge first to ensure that they can make progress in school. Sometimes we also need to ensure that your child’s knowledge and skills be extended above and beyond what they are currently doing in school to ensure they are stretched, inspired, engaged and remain confident and independent learners. We are experienced in teaching children who need additional support as well as those who are gifted and talented.
